Mission statement.

My wife Christy and I are going on a 2400 mile road trip this summer. We have both been huge fans of road trips our entire lives. However, next year we are planning on having a Baby. This trip will probably be the last one for sometime to come. We decided to start this blog so our child in the future can have some Idea of how his parents were before he was born. We are moving from Portland to Omaha and decided to turn the summer into a long vacation and a move. We are going to leave from Portland on the 3rd of July and arrive in Omaha Nebraska on the third week in August. In between we are going to attempt to see as many sites as possible. Traveling with us will be our Two cats, Peanut and Berlin. One of the primary reasons to take an RV is to provide our cats as much comfort as possible during the move. I will be posting from when we start looking at RVs to buy until we arrive in Omaha. I want to include the buying of the RV as well as fixing it up. I hope to document nuances of travel in an RV. I also want to show what it's like for a Vegan (Christy) to eat on the road. Hopefully we can create an interesting and helpful blog ultimately leaving a time capsule for our future child to get to know us better.
